NEW BUS TIME-TABLE FOR THE PLUMSTEADS & THORPE END

SPECIAL NOTICE - BUS SERVICE 123

As from Monday 27th October the 123 service will be calling in to Sainsbury's Pound Lane. It will call in twice per day going into Norwich & twice on the return from Norwich, at the following times.

From Great Plumstead at 09.48 am, returning 11.39am

From Great Plumstead at 11.34am, returning 13.09pm.

COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH

This scheme has been operating in this parish for over eight months and latest findings show that the general speed of  vehicles has decreased overall. In over 50 local sessions, 120 motorists have been reported, but some 30% of motorists continue to exceed the statutory speed limits.

Further volunteers are needed to assist with Community Speedwatch; if you are interested in helping please call councillor Adrian Skipper (01603) 433910, to have a chat about it.

PRINTED COPIES OF "CHURCH & PARISH" WILL CONTINUE TO BE DELIVERED DOOR-TO-DOOR THROUGHOUT THE THREE VILLAGES.

THORPE END - Proposed pedestrian crossing & footpaths

Designs for the proposed Zebrite crossing at The Green, Plumstead Road, Thorpe End and the new footpaths and improvements to drainage, have been released by Norfolk County Council.
